I'm Chef Amy K- artist, plant-based chef, and the hands behind every dish you'll find here. This is my little corner of the kitchen where food becomes art, and beauty meets nourishment. I'm so glad you've found your way here....

My Journey

Before I discovered the power of a plant-based lifestyle, I was struggling—both physically and emotionally. I battled severe fibromyalgia with daily pain, slight elevation of liver enzymes, high blood pressure, and the looming threat of Hashimoto’s. It felt like my body was breaking down, and I didn’t recognize the woman I was becoming.

Losing my brother to a heart attack at just 47 shook me. As I approached that same age, fear settled in. I knew something had to change—and fast.

That’s when I found whole-food, plant-based eating. Slowly but surely, things began to shift. The pain eased. My energy came back. My numbers normalized. But more than that, my spirit lit up. I started to feel like myself again—only better.

Mistakes were my teachers, and they led me to something more beautiful than I imagined....

I went from surviving to thriving. From living in pain and fear to standing in purpose and color. Through a whole-food plant-based diet, I didn't just heal my body- I found my spark again! Wildflower Cuisine is the blooming of that transformation. It's where healing tastes beautiful, and where I now help others fall in love with food that loves them back.

I am a licensed Food For Life Instructor for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, offering both in-person and online classes to guide others on their own journey to vibrant, nourishing living.

my Philosophy for Wildflower Cuisine

Wildflower Cuisine is rooted in the belief that food is not only fuel—but art, nourishment, and a form of everyday self-respect. I believe beauty has the power to draw us into better habits, and that plant-based eating, when presented with love and intention, can awaken curiosity, joy, and healing. Eating should be an act of self-care, not self-denial. I value whole foods grown from the earth, seasonal abundance, and creative expression on the plate. My approach blends nutritional science with whimsy, elegance, and storytelling, because health should never be bland or boring—it should feel alive.

At Wildflower Cuisine, my mission is to inspire others to fall in love with the beauty and possibility of plant-based eating. As both an artist and a chef, I believe every plate is a canvas—where color, texture, and seasonal abundance come together to tell a story of wellness and wonder. Through artfully crafted meals, educational experiences, and heartfelt storytelling, I want to show that plant-based food isn't just healthy—it can be elegant, joyful, and absolutely delicious. My goal is to nourish both body and spirit while inviting others to see food—and themselves—in a new light.
